As the rapid developing of industry, now the method of making cassava flour is different with before. Now we use automatic processing plant not by manually. That decrease the manpower at large degree. And the Cyanogentic glycosides in cassava are harmful to human health if we don’t process them in right method. Though processing plant, you don’t need to worry about this problem. Cassava flour is popular in food field. So let me introduce our present automatic complete processing plant.
local way of making cassava flour
Cassava washing → Cassava peeling → Crushing and milling → Dewatering → Drying
Though twice washing section, we use peeling machine to remove 98% peel both inner and outside. Then using knife crusher to cut cassava into small pieces. And using hammer mill to mill these small cassava pieces into slurry. By pump, all the slurry will be entered into press filter to remove water. After another milling machine, they will be crushed into wet cassava flour. By our double tower dryer, from its name, we can know the wet cassava will be dried twice. Finally we can get high quality cassava flour.
And we already have cassava flour processing plant in Nigeria, and the factory is producing now. The quality of final cassava flour is far more than their country standard.
