What are the steps involving in processing cocoyam into yam flour

1.Washing and Peeling. We know yam growing at underground, so the out peel has much sand, firstly we should washing to remove the impurities. If we want to get high quality yam flour, we should peel the outer peel and inner peel. 2.Milling. Here we use two types crushers, knife crusher and hammer crusher. Knife crusher will cut the yam into small pieces, the hammer crusher will mill the small pieces into slurry.

3.Pressing. We use the plate and frame filter presser to take out the water and get the flour cake. The flour cake contents about 40% water.

4.Fine milling. The flour cake will be fine milled again, to get the suitable size mesh flour.

5.Drying. We use the double tower dryer. This is our patent for invention machine. Low temperature and  low height to ensue the nature and color of the flour.

6.Packaging. Automatic packaging machine can be adjustable weight according to the customer’s requirements.
